I am also headed out of town to Charlottesville, Virgina for a session at Rare Book School. There I hope to produce a new BookNote for Craig to post here. This will be on a momentous, though overlooked event, in the history of the book...the advent of Case Construction Bookbinding. I will be working in Michael Winship's class on "The American Book in the Industrial Era, 1820-1940".
