The Austin Chronicle ran this story, The Story of BookLab: Status of the Original, in early 1999 about the closing of BookLab. It was a catharsis for me. You give your heart and soul to something for 14 years and it's hard to imagine what you will do without it. But the fear of the unknown turned out to be much more severe than what I eventually found the reality to be. I was ready for a change and now I find myself excited and energized by the directions that I am moving in!
